Developed in France during a research project to improve the movement of a
disabled riders centre of gravity to better follow that of the horse,
the Hippolib provides substantial support to people with impaired mobility or
balance. 

Easy to install to a standard saddle, the Hippolib supports the riders back and
pelvis for a natural riding posture, but with a quick release in the event of an
emergency.

Horse-riding provides people with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities
an opportunity to be active and benefit from horses; unique empathic
feedback.

As the rider is better supported, the special training for the horse to accept
disabled riders is not needed. This is of particular benefit to riding schools,
allowing for more choices in pairing horses with their mounts.
